Who We Are

The Center brings together a global network of the best pavement surface experts available. Our staff includes over a dozen leading experts in pavement engineering, and other industry leaders in vehicle dynamics, acoustics, and texture. Many of our staff have provided pavement surface solutions for over 40 years to clients around the world.

We focus on understanding our client, and ensuring our client understands us. Understanding our client means our experts come from previous roles with a transportation agency, a contractor, or an engineering firm. We understand first-hand how these organizations operate. We work with you until you are confident that we understand your goals, and we provide solutions that fit. But we also ensure our clients understand us, which means we communicate in practical terms, and we provide reasonable, implementable solutions.

Who We Work With

The Center works with agencies, engineers, and contractors who are seeking practical solutions to pavement surface needs. Sometimes, our clients know exactly what they need, such as a tire-pavement noise measurement on a specific pavement. Sometimes, our clients are unsure of what they need, such as a better solution to this rough riding pavement. We enjoy the time we spend with the client, working with them to ensure we define exactly what they want.
